Application Information
Applicants eligible to apply for a Mellinger Scholarship must be an undergraduate student and live in one of the following Illinois counties: Warren, Henderson, Knox, Mercer, Fulton or McDonough.
Applications can only be downloaded/requested and submitted between February 1st and May 1st of each year.
If you are currently receiving a Mellinger Scholarship, DO NOT REAPPLY. You will automatically receive a renewal form mid-May each year about the renewal of your present scholarship.
Applications received from outside our geographic area or our application period of February 1st to May 1st will NOT be considered.

Obtaining an Application (New Applicants Only)
IF ALREADY RECEIVING A MELLINGER SCHOLARSHIP, DO NOT DOWNLOAD! Please navigate to Scholarship Renewal tab.
PLEASE SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. SEND YOUR SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS WHEN THEY BECOME AVAILABLE.

How to Apply:
Method 1:
1. Download Application Form
2. Fill Out The Application Form
3. Upload The Completed Application Form In the Application Submission Area - Submit as soon as possible
4. Upload Supporting Documents In the Application Submission Area - Submit as soon as they become available
5. Click Submit. Applications can also be dropped off or mailed to our office
